Tis’ the Season @ Lake Hodges

Maternity

December 1, 2015

Hello All,

I had the great pleasure in meeting this couple back in March of 2015 in Sayulita, Mexico. I traveled there to attend a wedding. I first met Ashley at the San Diego international airport and we boarded our flight to Sayulita, Mexico and sat right next to each other. I got to know her well and heard the love story between her and Jason. Once I landed in Sayulita I was walking the town with some friends and came across Jason in the middle of the little town as he was out getting some things at the local store. At the time I met him I did not know he was Ashley’s fiancé Jason, the man she was talking about during our time getting to know each other on the plane. That would of been easier to figure out if they were together when I met him for the first time! He is the nicest guy ever and pointed us into the direction of places to eat and told us a little bit about the town Sayulita, Mexico.

Once the wedding festivities started I got to see them together and they are two peas in a pod and have so much fun together! You can see the love they have for each other at first sight. They constantly are laughing together! Both of them are so lovable and easy to get along with. Within the first 10 minutes of meeting Ashley at the airport I knew we would be friends.

Years later into their relationship they are now married and expecting a beautiful baby girl! Baby girls name is going to be Harper and they cannot wait to meet her! All of us can’t wait to meet her. So very exciting!

Ashley wanted a “woods” setting for her photos so we agreed to shoot the photos at Lake Hodges located off Pomerado in North Rancho Bernardo, San Diego. It was a perfect day and both Ashley and Jason were dressed to impress! Ashley came prepared with props and blankets to add that special Holiday touch and to include baby Harper and of course their pup Jameson. When she asked me to do their Holiday Maternity shoot I was honored! I’m so happy with the outcome of the photos and I hope you all enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
